Meet Megan Fernandez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Treatment. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Rutgers University and holds a Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University School.
Megan is our Clinial Program Coordinator with the goal is to help client’s optimize their life enhancement goals. With years of experience and through clinical training, she offers a unique perspective on understanding the contrversary of addiction and implementing recovery solutions. As a clinician, she specializes in Addiction, Anxiety, Women’s Health, and emanate LGBTQIA+ matters.
Prior to her role as Clinical Program Coordinator; as Primary Therapist, Megan worked with a diverse population in the school district, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, and in a private practice setting.
On her free time, Megan delightfully enjoys exercise utilizing activities such as hiking, to maintain her fitness goals. She also loves cooking appetizing meals as well as furthering her knowledge base through an assortment of reading materials.
