Meet Michael Martin, who is an Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICAADC). He has been a member of the American Counseling Association and a member of the National Honor Society for Educational and Professional Counseling Excellence since 2011. He has more than 20 years experience counseling and ministering to those recovering from addiction, trauma, and mental health issues, as a community organizer and a clinical counselor.
Michael is the Founder of The Viking Group in South Jersey and he has been a member of the international M.A.L.E.s male mentoring organization since 2008. His work has gained national media attention from Gannet News Co., USA Today, HARPO productions, and NBC. He is a Master level counselor with degrees in Clinical and Pastoral counseling. He specializes in Existential Psychotherapy and Group Process Therapy. Michael is excited to be a part of the team at Epiphany Wellness.
As an Existential Psycho therapist, he focuses on the four core concerns of existence. Michael strives in group and individual therapy to help our clients engage in making new meaning of their experiences and to engage in life with freedom, responsibility, and authenticity.
As a part of the team he brings strengths and the experience to support the mission of Epiphany Wellness — to provide holistic transformation for those suffering from substance use and co-occurring disorders. Being able to be a part of the recovery transformation of others is a privilege Michael does not take lightly. He believes helping others is fundamental to a life worth living.
The most rewarding thing he does in life is try to be the best husband he can be to his wife and father to his four children. Quality time with loved ones is the greatest joy that Michael gets to experience daily.
